The international summer workshop is one of the most important opportunity for jazz (and not) musicians to deepen their own musical and artistic education since more than 40 years.
Focused on performative educational arts, the workshop represents an opportunity of cultural and musical exchange for students from all over the world that share passion and love for this musical language.

• Choose “CORSI MASTER” from the box “Ordinamento”
• Select your instrument in the box “Selezionare il corso”. 
• Select “1” in the box “Anno di corso” (even if is not your first year you attend the International Workshop)
• In the box “Tipo studente (sezione valida solo per I Seminari Estivi)” please select one of the following choices:
  “Candidato esterno”: if you apply as an independent musician
  “Candidato esterno proveniente da conservatorio convenzionato”: if you apply as a student from an university or conservatory affiliated with Siena Jazz
  “Candidato esterno solo uditore”: if you apply as a listener 

Personal Data Section:

• Please pay attention to the personal data section: the “codice fiscale” is a code given by the Italian Government if someone is dwelling in Italy, so if you are coming form abroad YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FILL IT. Just remember to put your address of your country of origin.

We suggest you to have your deposit slip ready (write “Iscrizione Seminati Internazionali 2023” as bank transfer reference)

• In the box “DICHIARAZIONI DELLO STUDENTE” you can copy your performance links on the box “Invio di seguito i link (Youtube, Vimeo, Soundcloud ecc…) dei brani per la selezione”.
  We need 3 pieces played by the candidate according to the following structures: Blues, Rhythm Changes, Standards, modal composition or other. 

As far as the other sections, it could be useful to indicate the academic curriculum but this information is not mandatory. 

In the following sectios we ask you to upload the deposit slip for the enrollment, your ID Document and scans of accademic achievements and concerts flyers. 

At the end of the procedure you will receive a receipt as a confirmation for your enrollment

PLEASE NOTE:

Candidates with a diploma in jazz can send:

• a copy of the diploma or of the equivalent qualification;
• documented certification of performance experience (gigs posters, newspaper articles, etc.; in the absence of such documentation, a letter certifying their performance experience);

Candidates with a diploma in classical music can send:

• a copy of the diploma or of the equivalent qualification;
• documented certification of performance experience (gigs posters, newspaper articles, etc.; in the absence of such documentation, a letter certifying their performance experience).

Candidates without a diploma in jazz or classical music can send:

• documented certification of musical education 
• documented certification of performance experience (concert posters, newspaper articles, etc.; in the absence of such documentation, a letter certifying their performance experience)

FEES AND PAYMENT

• standard student fee € 880,00;
• affiliated conservatory student fee € 650.
• listener fee € 300

Payment can be made via NettunoPA Portal or via PayPal through the designated section of the site (plus bank charges).

Our Housing office will help you with information and contacts for two types of accommodation solutions:

• Guest houses: a contact list for lodgings and rooms for rent;
• Student dormitory: limited number of rooms available
